This Friday, in preparation for an important festival the following week - 'Gaura Purnima', the festival of the advent of Lord Caitanya, (The Golden Avatar of Krishna), HG Krishna Gopal prabhu will lead a talk on 'The Pancha Tattva', the 5 aspects of The Absolute Truth.
From Sanskrit, pancha means “five” and tattva means “truth” or “reality” and according Gaudiya Vaisnava (Krishna Bhakti) philosophical conclusion, the five aspects of God incarnated on Earth in the late 15th century as five different people. These were responsible for spreading practices of devotion to Krishna throughout India and then the world.
“Spiritually, there are no differences between these five tattvas, for on the transcendental platform everything is absolute. Yet, there are also varieties in the spiritual world, and in order to taste these spiritual varieties, one should distinguish between them” (C.C.Adi 7.5)
As usual we will also have Kirtans (chanting with musical instruments) and finish with a Veggie/Vegan Spiritual Feast. don't miss it!
