Hare Krishna Fridays

Currently we are meeting online during the 2020/21 Pandemic.

Our meetings are open to anyone regardless of age, gender, cultural or religious backgrounds.  They are for anyone curious and interested in exploring the spiritual aspect to our existence or wanting to delve deeper into the philosophy and practice of Bhakti Yoga.

We have various speakers giving uplifting spiritual talks, we read

together and discuss. We usually refer to the main Bhakti Texts of ancient India - Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam (Bhagavat Purana) amongst others.

Each week is slightly different format or topic, so please check our 'News' page & the events below to keep up to date.
If you would like to join us we meet via 'Zoom' every Friday at 19.30 'till 21.00,

Hare Krishna Fridays at the 'Phoenix Community Centre Brighton

Prior to the governmental restrictions put in place due to the Pandemic, for the last 10 years we have met at the Phoenix Community Centre every Friday - the many photo's on this site are mainly taken at these evenings and as you will see they are joyous and colourful events.

The Phoenix Community centre is situated near ‘The Level’ park around St Peter’s church area, Brighton.
Its behind ‘The Phoenix Gallery’ at

2 Phoenix Place  Brighton and Hove BN2 9ND United Kingdom

(See map below)

There we perform 'Kirtan' together (congregational chanting of the Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra), a musical meditation along with musical instruments.

We also read from the ancient Bhakti Texts or have a talk from a guest speaker.

We then share spiritual sanctified food - known in sanskrit as 'Prasadam' - which is a a tasty cruelty-free (veggie/vegan) meal, another aspect to the tradition of Bhakti Yoga.

As soon as it's allowed these meetings will resume and of course we will keep you updated as things change.
