This Friday, after returning from a recent pilgrimage to Krishna's Holy land of India, His Grace Trilokanath das (and no doubt with the aid of Her Grace, Kundalata devi dasi) will give a talk and guide our meditation to a very special place, a doorway between worlds—where the heart naturally becomes soft, prayerful, and awake. 'Sri Kshetra' or Jagannath Puri in Odisha in Eastern India is one very special place and home to a very famous deity form of Lord Krishna, 'Jagannath' - 'The Lord of the Universe'.

This will also follow on from our recent theme of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the Golden avatar of Krishna as Jagannath Puri is deeply connected to Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu because it was the central place of His later pastimes and where he manifested the heart of His specific mood of devotion.

kīrtana karite prabhura sarva-bhāvodaya

stambha, kampa, pulakāśru, gadgada, pralaya

When the Lord Caitanya performed kīrtana, He manifested all kinds of transcendental symptoms. He appeared stunned and trembling, His hair stood on end, and His voice faltered. There were tears and devastation.

This will promise to be another enlivening evening and as usual we will have Hare Krishna Kirtans (chanting with musical instruments) and finish with a Veggie/Vegan Spiritual Feast. We look forward to seeing you there!
