On the eve of one of our biggest festivals on the seafront, Rathayatra, to get us fired up and in the mood for festivities, we have special guest His Holiness Janananda Goswami Maharaj!
For those who not me maharaj before, he was born in the United Kingdom, his spiritual journey as a Bhakta Yogi began in 1972 when he was initiated by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada. With a heart completely dedicated to service, he has held significant positions within ISKCON and rendered invaluable service to our founder Srila Prabhupada and has shared Bhakti across various countries, including the United Kingdom, Africa, Malaysia, Europe, Philippines, and New Zealand.
A beacon of humility, devotion and compassion, His Holiness travels far and wide, spreading the glories of Lord Krishna's holy name. He is the driving force behind the annual World Holy Name initiative, a project that aims to share the sublime chanting of the Holy Names throughout the globe. His current service is in France, where he is revitalising Krishna Consciousness all over the country.
Maharaj will give a talk on the significance of Rathayatra and the special form of Lord Krishna - Lord Jagannath!
As usual we will also be having our usual Veggie/Vegan Spiritual Feast.
We look forward to seeing you there!
