Friday May 5th - The appearance of Lord Nrsimhadev

You're invited to join us on Friday May 5th for Nrsimha Chaturdasi celebration at Hare Krishna Brighton's 'Bhakti Basement' at the BMECP Centre!

Nrsimha Chaturdasi is a special day in the Vedic calendar that celebrates the appearance of Lord Nrismhadev, who is a fierce incarnation of Lord Krishna (Vishnu). He appeared in the form of a half-man and half-lion to protect His devotee Prahlad Maharaj from his demoniac father, Hiranyakashipu.

Lord Nrismhadev is known for His compassion and protection towards His devotees, and His appearance serves as a reminder of the power of devotion

The pastimes of Lord Nrismhadev will be recounted through a fun, interactive drama, followed by Kirtan and special Bhajan (devotional song) and flower offering.

As usual we will have our spiritual feast with delicious vegetarian/ vegan dishes.

The festival will be from 7 PM to 10 PM, and everyone is welcome to join us.
