Five hundred years ago, when Lord Krishna appeared in Navadvipa as Lord Chaitanya, Balarama appeared with Him as Lord Nityananda. He took birth in Ekachakra, a small village in present-day West Bengal in the year 1473.
This Friday we will be celebrating this appearance with traditional Bengali devotional songs (bhajan) and hearing pastimes (lilas) about Lord Nityananada and His glories.
Along side this will be the usual joyous musical mantra chanting (Kirtan) & Veggie/Vegan sanctified feast (Prasadam).
Starts at the usual time of 19.30 at the Phoenix Community Centre.
