This Friday we have another very special guest leading our Hare Krishna Fridays at the Phoenix Community Centre. This week we have His Holiness Janananda Goswami Maharaj. Maharaj is a Sannyassi - a renounced Monk and Spiritual Teacher (Guru) and has many disciples all over the world. He was initiated by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada in 1972 and has held various positions in ISKCON and served Srila Prabhupada in various countries notably the United Kingdom, Africa, Malaysia, Europe, Philippines and New Zealand. He is currently based in France - specifically New Mayapur Temple, focussing on helping the devotees share Krishna Consciosuness all over France and helping the Temple community thrive. Maharaj has kindly agreed to visit us here in Brighton during his busy tour of the UK and will be accompanied with a small entourage of fellow Monks from the UK Temples.
Expect uplifting Kirtan, enlightening discourse from the Bhakti Wisdom texts and Maharaj's warm and compassionate presence. Prasadam (Veggie/Vegan feast) will be served as usual too.
