Tonight is the last night of the month of Kartik also known as the month of Damodara, the month for deepening one's love for Krishna. It is considered by devotees of Krishna to be the holiest month of the year. Tonight will be the last chance in offering lamps to the special 'Damodara' form of Krishna, accompanied by the singing of the special bhajan 'Damodarastakam".
We will also have a talk and discussion on Text 2 of 'Nectar of Instruction' which focuses on how to avoid activities that are not conducive to Spiritual development. There will be a slide show presentation and discussion. Of course we will be also having our usual programme of Musical Mantra Meditation - Kirtan and a Veggie/Vegan Spiritual Feast.
