Hare Krishna everyone. His Grace Madhu Vrata das prabhu, local senior devotee, has kindly agreed to give a talk on "The appearance of Srila Sukadeva Gosvami" at this week's Hare Krishna Fridays meeting. For those who have read the Srimad Bhagavatam (Bhagavat Purana) they would be familiar with the name of this great sage, as the voluminous Bhakti text is based around a conversation between Sukadev Gosvami and Maharaj Paraksit in preparation for Maharaj Parkisit's prophesied death. Please come and hear about this extremely self realised personality and his significance in Vaisnavism, the spiritual science of Bhakti Yoga.
