Again we have the opportunity to celebrate another important Spiritual festival this Friday. We are celebrating the appearance an amazing Avatar of Krishna - Lord Nrsimhadev. This festival is one of remembrance of the Krishna in the form as the protector of His devotees and the remover of all obstacles and difficulties on the path of devotion to the Lord. Lord Nrsimhadeva, is known for His appearance in the world in order to save His devotee, a young child Prahlada and comes as Half Man, Half Lion.

We will have a special Deity of Lord Nrsimhadev on our Altar and will have a special Arti ceremony and flower offerings by all.

Translation:

I offer my obeisances to Lord Nrsimhadeva, who gives joy to

Prahlada Maharaja and whose nails are like chisels on the stonelike

Chest of Hiranyakasipu. Lord Nrsimha is here and also there.

Wherever I go Lord Nrsimha is there. He is in the heart and is

Outside as well. I surrender to Lord Nrsimha, The origin of all things

And The supreme refuge.

O Kesava! O Lord of the universe! O Lord Hari who has assumed

The form of a half-man, half-lion! All glories to you! With the

Wonderfully sharp nails on your beautiful lotus hands. You have

Ripped apart the wasplike body of Hiranyakasipu.
